Meet..
me :)
Hi. My name is Mathilde Wester. I'm a proud "jyde" living in Aarhus, Denmark. I'm one of those individuals with a popcorn-brain that sprinkle ideas around me like fairy dust. Sometimes I hit jackpot, and other times.. well.. I give it another spin.I love solving problems with creative thinking, and I am highly motivated by crafting concepts and experimenting. I value a work environment with room for personality and humor, trust and autonomy in daily tasks, ambition and continous learning/development.

Scandinavian Talent
Business Academy Aarhus
As a supplement to my education in Digital Concept Development, I participated in the academy’s talent program, “Scandinavian Talent.” The program provided me with tools for facilitating and leading both myself and others. I gained experience with innovative processes, interdisciplinary collaboration, and methods for creating growth and progress in smaller startup companies.
2015-2017

As part of my education as a Multimedia Designer I gained experience working with digital design, coding, communication, and business strategy. The program provided me with a strong understanding of the creative and technical processes behind developing digital products and experiences. Through both individual and collaborative projects, I worked with visual identity, UX/UI design, content creation, and strategy, while strengthening my skills in interdisciplinary teamwork and creative problem-solving.

Work methods
I know that the final result is only half the story — if even that.
As a potential employer, you’re not hiring me solely for what I create. You’re also hiring me for how I get there: how I approach a challenge, collaborate with clients, make and communicate decisions, work with developers, and manage my time and priorities.

A polished design can show you what I’m capable of producing. But it doesn’t necessarily show you what I’m like to work with.
So, here’s a look behind the finished work — broken down into a few key areas.
Beyond the CV
Personality assessments (DiSC and Firstmind) consistently describe the same core: someone who moves fast, holds a high bar, and genuinely enjoys the people side of work.

Driven, but not reckless. I set ambitious goals and go after them without waiting for perfect conditions, yet I have little patience for incompetence. Speed and quality aren't a trade-off for me, they're both non-negotiable.
A builder of ideas. New angles and solutions come easily, and I'm usually the one who gets a project off the ground and keeps it moving once the initial excitement fades.

Warmer than the data type suggests. Where a results-and-quality profile is often expected to be reserved or skeptical, mine consistently flags the opposite: strong empathy, sociability, and an ability to read a room and adapt.

People-focused, not just task-focused. I notice potential in others and enjoy helping them get there, whether that means sharpening an idea or pushing someone to take the next step.

The short version: I bring pace and a high standard to whatever I'm working on, and I bring the people along with me while I do it.
